Bury St Edmonds (pics below). A job in 2016, taking me away from Cambridge Garden Design, into Suffolk Garden Design! I decided to create some height in the garden with a pergola, with some Clematis and Climbing rose to adorn. By putting in a curving stepping stone path, and curving beds, I masked the V shaped garden, and broke up the fairly ugly view of the shed at the end. A garden design that pleased the owners and gave then many years of pleasure seeing the plants I choose grow to fruition.
Summer-Autumn 2017: I took this job through from design to landscaping with the Staplehurst's in Milton. A lovely project. I am pleased with the use of larch, which you can see faded on the decking. The waney boards in the back ground will fade as well. The circular theme with the water feature and the box balls in the background, and a blue glazed clay circle out of the picture.
